If you’re digging for Rock and Metal records visiting Chicago - this is THE place you don’t want to miss. Be sure to view the “just in” (unsorted) section - who knows what you’ll find. I saw all kinds of things here I had never seen before or not seen in years. They also have blues, pop, garage, indie, R&B and other genres, but the rock and metal are the largest collections. If you’re into horror and fantasy they also have movies and books and all the related things you would expect. Nice collection of metal band pins by the register for sale and other items too. You won’t leave here empty handed lol.

Bucket O'Blood is my favorite record store in Chicago and has the best selection of horror novels I've seen in a long while. The owners are really nice and helpful and I can't say enough good things about this place.

One of my ‘must stops’ every time I’m in Chicago! I always find something cool here. This place carries all the best stuff, horror VHS’s, tons of metal records, band memorabilia, etc- but I think my favorite part is the wide variety of books, specifically the extreme horror/splatter-punk stuff you’re probably not going to find anywhere else!

So many horror books I haven't seen anywhere. I loved the variety and that there were even sub categories. And a pretty extensive LGBTQIA section for horror. Super cool store!

Amazing selection of horror and fantasy. Staff is super friendly. It’s very welcoming. They also offer great advice and selections. A true Chicago staple to visit. Movies, music and books galore!
